As you maybe aware, the Fijian Election Office will be undertaking another round of overseas voter registration drive, with the objective of registering eligible voters that have yet register for the 2018 General Elections.
It is for this purpose that the Embassy is again reaching out to the Fijian Community in Japan, to gauge the interest particularly for eligible voters who are yet to register.
The Embassy undertook a similar exercise in 2017, however, did not generate enough interest.
To assist the Fijian Election Office make the decision on extending the registration drive to Japan, and subsequently plan for their logistics, we would be grateful if you can firm-up on the items below;
- Confirm if you are not a registered voter yet
- Apart from your Prefectures, please indicate if you will be able to travel to one of the following Prefectures for registration; Akita, Tokyo, Osaka and Oita.
To assist the Embassy on the above, we would be grateful if you can furnish us your information in the table below, by Wednesday 13th June, 2017.
